Fall Break Kids Art Workshops!

Looking for something fun, creative, and screen-free this fall break?
Join us in the studio for two special art workshops designed just for kids. Each workshop is kept small (6 students max) so every child gets personal attention and plenty of space to create.

Fall Workshop: Autumn Glow & Falling Leaves

Dates: Mon-Tue, Sept 29-30
Time: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Suggested Ages: 7-12 (contact me if your child is close or has attended my workshops before)
Max: 6 students

Celebrate the beauty of autumn with two colorful projects:

  • Botanical Monoprints – use real leaves and paint to create a vibrant falling leaves triptych, mounted and ready to display.
  • Oil Pastel Pumpkin Patch – blend glowing colors on black backgrounds to capture pumpkins under a harvest moon.

Your child will explore a few different art mediums and take home two finished works of art worthy of hanging.

Halloween Workshop: Haunted Glow & Friendly Ghosts

Dates: Thu-Fri, Oct 9-10
Time: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Suggested Ages: 7-12 (contact me if your child is close or has attended my workshops before)
Max: 6 students

Get into the spooky season with a mix of glow and whimsy:

  • Haunted Night Skies – paint eerie skies in watercolor and add glowing moons, stars, and details with special glow-in-the-dark paint.
  • Cheesecloth Ghosts – drape, dry, and decorate floating fabric ghosts, then give them personality with hats, feathers, and accessories.

Kids will go home with both a glowing Halloween scene and a ghost buddy full of charm.

Fees & Registration

  • $65 per 2-day workshop (all supplies included)
  • $120 for both workshops (save $10)

Payment is required to reserve your child’s spot. Space is limited, so don’t wait!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Here are answers to some common questions I hear from parents so you can register with peace of mind. Don’t see your question here? Reach out via my Contact Form above. I’m happy to help!

  • How do I register myself or a child for an event? Easy! Just click the “Register Now” button below each workshop, camp, or class and fill out the form. Once your form is received, you’ll get a confirmation email with payment instructions and next steps.
  • What is included in the fee? All materials are provided for camps unless otherwise noted. For classes and workshops, each listing includes details about what’s provided and whether you’ll need to bring any supplies. If a supply list is needed, it will be sent to you after registration is complete. We do our best to keep any additional supply needs minimal, affordable, and easy to find.
  • Can siblings attend the same classes/camp? If they fall within the same age group—absolutely! If they’re in different age groups, we recommend signing them up for the camp that best suits their age and interest level. Please contact me if you have questions.
  • Where is the studio located? Most sessions are held at my home studio in Gilbert, AZ. For privacy, cross streets are shared after registration. I also occasionally offer pop-up workshops in other locations—including outdoor sessions or travel-based events. Each listing includes location details so you’ll know exactly where your session will be held.
  • What’s your cancellation/ refund policy? Cancellations made at least 7 days before the start of a session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days are non-refundable, but may be eligible for a credit toward a future class or workshop if the spot can be filled. We understand that life happens and will always do our best to work with you when possible.
  • What if my child has special needs or allergies? Please note any special considerations on your registration form. I’ll reach out if I have any questions and will do my best to accommodate within the scope of the class/workshop/camp setting.
  • What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures? Please plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your session begins and pick up promptly when it ends. Out of respect for our neighborhood and studio schedule, we kindly ask that families avoid arriving too early or lingering in front of the home before or after class. If you’re running late, please text me as soon as possible. A $10 late pickup fee may be applied if students are not picked up within 15 minutes of the session’s end time. Thank you for helping us keep everything flowing smoothly and respectfully!
