Monthly Creative Studios
Creative Studios are small, monthly workshops held in my home studio in Gilbert, Arizona. No experience necessary. These gatherings offer a welcoming place to create, connect, and enjoy a little time for yourself.
Card & Bookmark Studio – $25
Second Thursday of each month, 10am – 11:30am
- Enjoy a relaxed morning of creativity and connection
- Learn a simple technique and create handmade cards or bookmarks
- Leave with meaningful projects you can use or share
- All supplies provided
Journaling & Planner Studio – $20
Fourth Thursday of each month, 10am – 11:30am
- Explore creativity, reflection, and self-expression in a welcoming environment
- Creative journaling prompts and seasonal inspiration provided
- Experiment with art journaling and planner techniques at your own pace
- Access to a variety of supplies and tools
- Bring your favorite journal or planner

Hi, I’m Cori — artist, creative educator, and founder of Cori Jo’s Studio in Gilbert, AZ.
I offer small-group art gatherings for adults and youth that build confidence through guided, hands-on practice. With decades of experience in both personal art and instruction, I design gatherings that encourage exploration, self-expression, and creative resilience. Whether you’re a budding artist or not sure you have any real artistic nature, each session is designed to nurture curiosity, skill, and self-trust. 🤎

Do I need any artistic experience?
Not at all. Creative Studios are intentionally designed to be welcoming and beginner-friendly. My goal is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where people can explore creativity without pressure or perfectionism.
What types of projects can we create?
Workshops include a short demo or instruction of a fun technique or tool. You’ll then be given lots of free creativity time to create handmade cards or bookmarks or work on expressive journaling projects.
Who can attend Creative Studios?
Creative Studios are a place for adult women to unwind, connect, and make time for yourself while getting in touch with your artistic spirit.
Where do Creative Studios take place?
Studio gatherings are held in my home studio in Gilbert, Arizona. The exact address will be provided after registration is confirmed.
How large are Gatherings?
Gatherings are intentionally kept small and personal to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Do I need to provide any supplies?
I provide an extensive array of materials needed for your selected project. I may also share a few curated creative products available for optional purchase.
Since we’ll be working with art materials, I recommend wearing clothes that can handle the occasional splash of paint and a smock or apron.
Can I bring a drink or treats?
Yes! In most cases, you will provide your own drinks and treats and are welcome to do so.
Please let me know if you have any serious allergen concerns so I can share that privately with the group, if needed.
What if I need to cancel?
I totally understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 2 days in advance so I can plan accordingly. Because supplies are prepared in advance, I’m not able to offer refunds, but I’m happy to apply a credit toward a future Studio session whenever possible. No-shows or last-minute cancellations will not be eligible for rescheduling.
